Hi, our Golden Retriever is getting older and no longer able to walk the distances that we like. Can anyone recommend an all terrain stroller which is suitable for a 30 kg dog? We have a PVC so said stroller needs to fold flat and not weigh too much.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Cant recommend a stroller but I can recommend
Lintbells YuMOVE Dog supplement for stiff dogs, 300 tablets Amazon product ASIN B003W5VDWOWorked wonders with our old boy Dave.
Gave him at least an extra 2 yrs of happy life
If you join them on Facebook they used to send a 30 day trial.

I used to give my GSD some of my anti inflammation RA tablets when she got older and stiffer. They did her more good than me as she was still walking well until she was 13..BUSBY.
.

Doggyhut, e bay from Germany (much much cheaper than elsewhere). You will need the large version.

Wow, hauling a 30 kg dog in a stroller is going to take some effort, I hope your very fit as it sounds like your going longish distances
Sorry I have nothing useful I can add, just admiration for the love of your dog.

As mentioned above a trailer maybe more suitable, some can be used as strollers and as dog trailers so you have the choice, Doggyhut and Croozer both come to mind.

We used to have a Doggyride and used it mainly as a stroller but found it very heavy. We used it for all three of our old collies as they struggled to keep up with the youngsters in their old age - we just had to be selective with our walks.

We now have a Burley Tail Wagon. We have not used it recently as our current two are still active but we have just acquired ebikes and may contemplate some longer rides with the dogs in the trailer.

Have a look at baby buggies, yes I'm serious! If you are able to remove the existing seat pad you can then put a padded board/board with dog bed, on the lower part for your dog to lay on. When we had a poorly dog (admittedly smaller) I bought him a 3-wheel buggy and he would lay in the seat part, however when we took him out to do his ablutions, when he'd had enough of pottering etc he'd climb in the shopping net underneath the seat! The 3-wheel ones tend to be longer so gives more room for the dog to lay down in, they also usually have the larger 'all terrain' wheels. You can pick them up for next to nothing second hand so worth a go?

Read with interest as our dogs are slowing down a lot now on walks. We actually bought the toad last year because of them! Husband has threatened not to walk with us if we use a buggy/pram!

Think I will try the YuMove first and if not enough improvement a 2nd hand buggy as Mindy Girls ideal (not that bothered if hubby disowns us:ROFLMAO:
