Supermarket chain Morrisons has once again taken the forecourt fight to its rivals by cutting the price of its diesel to 99.9p a litre.

Diesel under £1

Went passed Morrisons at 9.30 am this morning, diesel was already down to 99.9.
Hopefully LPG will follow suit. :thumb:

Morrisons near us is under £1 for diesel but Sainsburys in the next road is still over £1.08 per litre

Trouble is I rather like Tesco points to!:BigGrin:
 
sainbury, morrison amd asda have dropped there price to under a quid.:BigGrin::thumb:

the true saving, for an average car tank full , since diesel was £1.33 in july is now £18 cheaper. :thumb:

the pump price for diesel at Tesco Bury St. Edmunds last week was £102 99----- we also had a 5p discount voucher----------------AT LAST a win!!!!!!!!!!!

Closest Morrisons to us is about 15 miles away & the price according to PetrolPrices.com is still 103.9 where our local Tesco/Asada/Sainsbury & many of the normal garages are 102.9.
In fact when I checked adjoining areas the best I can find is still 102.9 :Sad:
 
Filled up with diesel at morrisons in Preston today @ 99.9p .Filled gas tank at Lytham 48.9p even the garage assistant hadn't realised the price had dropped- must have happened over the weekend.

Head for Scotland. Diesel 97.9 in Edinborough.

Scotland for cheap diesel

In Edinborough and as usual it is cheaper than England. Cheapest here is 96.9 but don't all come up at once or the price will increase.

one local petrol station is 96.9........guess where i'll be filling up for grantham on tuesday.......:thumb::BigGrin:

it nice getting more in liters than you give them in £'s again.........:Cool:

Yes but how come a barrel of oil has dropped to about a third of it's highest value and we all praising how low the prices are now when they SHOULD be a hell of a lot lower?????

Exactly. My local garage is 96.9 at the moment.Still way to high.:Sad:
