    Eat your hearts out guys.

I'm currently just about as far south as you can go in Africa and I've just filled up with diesel at the equivalent of £0.58 litre.

Sadly they won't allow me to put a few Jerry Cans in the Airbus cargo hold on the return journey :-(

Quote given by petroleum Co.s when they were berated for being slow at dropping prices when it was on the way down.

"We buy our fuel many months in advance and, as a result, just because the price has gone down lately, it will take some time for it to show at the pumps." End Quote.

HOWEVER, what happens when the price of Brent crude goes up by a couple of Dollars on Monday.

The garages have the price up by Thursday.

In fact, the price should still be dropping because they haven't bought ANY of the Brent crude that went up this week.

They're still supplying us with the stuff they bought when the price was dropping.
