Dab+ radio station retune as of today....

What nob head decided to shift some staions from DAB to Dab+ ?
My lovely kitchen Chronos DAB radio that has served me well can not receive Dab+.

Autotune on my Chronos finds the name "Radio X" as an example, but no sound forthcoming?

I prefer fm in my car. The DAB keeps cutting out in weak areas. The sound quality seems better on FM too.

Sadly the download quality of our UK DAB stations is very low. I can no longer find the link I looked at a few years back but recall most stations were were below MP3 quality (which is itself not Hi-Fi quality). I have a feeling that Radio 3 was given a better download than other DAB stations. Things could have moved. I now cache online lossless music from Radio Paradise and play this from my iPhone through the radio with vastly better results.

We noticed recently that DAB wasn't working on our MH radio. We assumed it was a radio fault - now we know differently. Found this - might explain things.

FM mentioned above ,. But my favourite stations are all DAB and increasingly DAB+.
Feels like they shot themselves in the foot.
