Cornwall, Norway Cruise and France.

When we were there in June, barrier didn’t work in or out, Frenchman , after calling CCP took barrier off!
There is a lovely restaurant outside the walls of the town, left as you walk from the aire, unfortunately we only discovered it after eating a very mediocre meal in town!

There's an interesting geocache by that cannon. See post #159 on this thread.

Just took this photo of Phil raising a glass to his nephew who got nine 9s and two 8s.
In old money 9x A+ and 2 A.
He's a lovely guy as well.View attachment 1106441

Lunch could have been from 2 different restaurants.
My Moules Normandie was delightful, a true example of French bistro food
Phils fish and chips could have come from a 1970s truck stop, not good.
Stick to the classics in France I say.

Pictures of our walk to the Bakery and the bar which we weren't planning on.
I was enjoying the walk so much we walked a extra 20 minutes past the turn into town 😀😀, to be honest the extra exercise won't hurt 😮.
Those extra 20 minutes give you 2 more beers or half a bottle of wine. Win/win ;)

Its not a full on sea view but good enough considering there's only space between to get chairs out. We are going to sit under the shade of the trees. Perfect 😀

That's nice, so you can get the chairs out on a CCP , thought that was classed as camping or is it just the Aire's where that's not allowed ??

CCP sites allow camping behaviour.

Every aire in france i have been on except maybe 2 have allowed chairs out, however in Spain unless it says its OK, do not put your chairs out.

Ok thanks for the Heads Up 👍

A lovely cycle up along the coast and back stopping for some light refreshment at a beach cafe/bar.
42 kilometres, mostly flat so quite easy.

was the food good, because the breaded Chicken looks like its from Iceland and the chips look a bit naff.... not up to your usual standard boys :ROFLMAO:
The menu read well, you're right the chicken was naff but there was a lovely soft boiled egg and large anchovies under the salad which saved it.
