Cornwall, Norway Cruise and France.

Oh yes.
It's easy when you have a boost for the hills.
To be honest I have it set on the ecco setting which gives a little assistance if it's on the flat,
But you still have to work your muscles.
And the app on the control that is set to stop when passing a watering hole? :giggle:

Now I understand why you guys don't get fat 😀
Oh I've pilled it on the summer. The doctors not going to be impressed when I have my mot in September. Luckily when we work in the winter I usually drop at least a stone.

42km on a bicycle? Are you sure?
Only 26 miles not that far on a bike.

We find since we have had e-bikes (10 years now) that we go further, up steeper hills and come back more knacked than if riding normal bikes.

We have travelled down to Noirmoutier, the camping car park site was full (it looked very tight spots), moved out of the main area to a aire park in L'Èpine, bigger space but further away from the main touristy bit, which may be a good thing.
Last time we stayed over the big bridge and used the scooter to ride in.
Had a look on Google maps and there's a couple of restaurants that may be OK.
There is a bakery so life is in balance 😀.

Bikes out or just do a walk, when phil has finished the laundry, only 2 loads today.

After a walk round the local market which was very expensive for the food products, no purchases where made.
We called at the bakers for bread and a desert for later.
Dropped of the goodys at the camper, we walked back in for pizza (truffle, ham and burrata) and craft beers, it was very very good.

We will stay one more day here and do a bike ride tommorow.
Possible camping behaviour this afternoon 🤔 😅

What a lovely day so far.
Walked to the bakers for some more of there lovely bread and a couple of éclairs for later.
Called into the butchers and picked up a huge
t-bone Steak.
Ive trimmed the fillet off it to enjoy next week and the sirloin part is going on the Barby later.
We then did a 26km bike ride, just enjoying the scenery and headed into the local town but it was rammed (no sneaky beers unfortunately).
Snacks with Clara and sherry.
Just chilling for the moment, photos of the cooked steak later 😋

We left the coast this morning heading inland.
Looked at Nantes, full.
Thought of Angers but seemed a bit of a fanny on to get in the compound, apply online to get a code from tourist office etc.
So we decided upon Château-Gontier.
There's a fair bumping out on the aire but we followed the French and have parked opposite, hopefully this will be ok.
Chilling with tea to decompress as half way through the journey the middle draw in the kitchen flew open and scattered it's load.
Its all back on but a piece of plastic has come off.
I will add it to our snag list and get a new one fitted under warranty.

The town is ok, maybe because its a Monday and very hot, nothing is happening and the only thing open was 1 boulangerie. There was supposed to be a bar open but it was firmly closed.
Nice buildings and a nice church.

We called into to Mayenne with the notion of staying overnight.
The aire is taken up by a music stage even so it looked quite an awkward and a low bridge to access it.so we moved across the river to look at parking near to the service point.
After an amazing first attempt parallel parking by me (just saying, even phil was impressed) we decided for a look about and have lunch.

Its got a lovely chateau overlooking the river and some restaurants, none of which interested us but on walking back to the camper we spotted a sushi place and lunch was sorted.

We are now on the ccp site at
Ambrières-les-Vallèes.
It's very quiet here next to the river. We should get a good night's sleep.
Just off for another amble about, not expecting much but a sleepy quaint town.
