I'm a little confused on the resting voltage of my starter battery which drops from fully charged to low levels within two/ three days.
The vehicle is a Hymer PVC with smart alternator.
I have a Votronic battery monitor that today after two days on site reads 12.1v, it has fallen previously to 11.18v and triggered the Mercedes cab low battery warning, is this normal?
I also have a separate bluetooth monitor fitted across the battery terminals that is now reading 12.09v it shows a rather rapid decline in voltage, whilst on site we have not drawn from the starter battery other than the electric assist sliding door.

We have a skoda yeti with stop start and agm battery. Quite often the starter batt voltage is 12.2 or 12.3 at rest. Now 5 years old but starts fine. Much lower than I expected but seems to work ok.

Either there is a large parasitic draw (i.e. running the stereo), or the battery is knackered.

No radio usage, i did phone the Mercedes dealer in Aberdeen who were brilliant, put me through to Mercedes recovery who are on route to investigate problem.
I suspect a defective battery.
We are on holiday in Scotland at present and will be surfing with the kids this afternoon.
This is the view from the van.

Another possible parasitic draw is a B2B charger that is not detecting engine stop, although it does sound like just a bad battery in your case.

Nice view!! Is that a camping area or are you just parked up for the day?

Camping at Sandend campsite nr Banff north east Scotland.
Booked this site as part of our tour of Scotland and the Lake district.
Very quiet, must be five sea front pitches vacant tonight.
Just spent the afternoon surfing with the kids, brilliant!
Whilst surfing Mercedes recovery in Aberdeen 40 miles away came to site and fitted a new battery under warranty, brilliant service well done Mercedes!

Thanks for that, another place to go on the "must visit" list :giggle: .
Mike.

Well done mate problem sorted and new battery to boot. 👍😷🥃

Brilliant beach at Sandend, Surf school on beach.
We hired boards and wet suits for the afternoon for £20 each.
Brilliant for kids and adults alike.
