Its not a false name, its a username, the same as CBers have an handle and radio amateurs have a call sign or whatever.

Dabhand' what are you doing? I waffled on about myself at the start of this post . You want more? OK Radio ham and instructor. Callsign G4ODM. before that CB rigdoctor The Ayatollah. Legs rubbish as had Polio at age 3 but good with wheels. 2, 3 4 or 6 or 10, 12 18.
Did motorcycle trials with home made outfit (3) Cars many (4) HGV class 1 ( lots with an artic!!) Previous tardis had 6.
Left school with just one O level in General Science. Failed the rest. So worked hard at Basingstoke Tech and then Farnborough Tech where my specialised endorsement subject was a new thing called Transistors.
Geranium to start with but silly cone later.

I think @dabhand being ironic with his post which you could tell by the winking smiley on the end. I am ending with a smileing smiley as I am trying to be nice and friendly!

Camping Javea. Yes .The following day the Mrs tripped exiting the awning and broke her hip. Oranges and twos to Denia hospital. Fitted metalwork. So instead of staying all of January we came home after her 10 day stay. Then pain and xray showed spanish metalwork was comming apart. Admitted to Southampton hospital for a rework and screw tightening. Just graduated to crutches from walking frame. Will try again at the end of this year. Stuff happens!!

My guess is you downsized to the Hymer 3.5t because of the C1? and the Trailer fulfills your needs on a trip?

This is my plan if the C1 goes TaTa, does this Rig work for you?

Yes C1 but passed the medical after all, twice now. The Mrs passed as well so perhaps a little premature. But it works for us and loading the trailer is easy, just ride the bikes straight in. Previously a winch was used for the Concorde garage.
A dream to drive with that V6 3 litre and Auto box. Still plated at 3880 but can be 3500 if it has to. Alugad bottles and lithium battery save lots of weight.
