Is it possible to charge power from the electric car charging stations presuming when doing your build you fitted correct batteries etc . This is a hpyothetical question for now but who knows in the future

Somebody technical will probably be along in a minute, but I cannot see why not as long as you have correct charger and batteries. However, the car charging stations around here are small spaces and/or have height barriers, Cribbs for example underground carpark. Accessibility and finding them might be more of an issue.
By the time you have driven around finding one you will have charged up anyway,

Yes you could, buy and fit a Nissan Leaf battery pack and charger. Then you could charge your pack. It weighs 300kg and stores 24kwh. The problem is how you’re going to use that power. It’s over 380v dc. There is no commercially available a inverter to work on that voltage. You can have a custom made inverter or search for a 380vdc UPS. The weight adds up.

But once you work out how to convert the 380v to a usable 12v you could stay off grid for weeks at a time. :xlaugh:
