I have never owned a motor home with a cassette toilet, i wondered how long they last before they need emptying, assuming 2 adults on board.
Happy with all the American Rv’s we’ve owned, they all have holding tanks and can last a week or more. What about you?

It will last longer if you don’t put toilet paper in it.
We have a small bin with nappy bag in for the paper.

This is a toilet thread, we need more information before it can go before the Guesstimate Committee.

How often do you go, size of persons, alcoholic fluid intake, visitors, glazed or quilled paper etc.

There is a disclaimer, of course, and a small administration charge.

Your custom IS important to us and we look forward to receiving you address so we can issue the relevant documentation.

Signed,

Chairperson. :giggle:

As we are no strangers to a ruby, and have been known to get Oliver Twist on occasions, I think a cassette may not be suitable for us. Probably would need a garage full of empties.

Thank you for your replies,

Craig

Cut down on flushing, go elsewhere wherever possible. Every little helps. 3 or 4 days for 2 of us.

2 days for 2 max. We have a SOG 2 and empty daily whilst not using sites. No chemicals no problem. Also when on the move empty when you can, same with filling up. You never know when your next opportunity will come.

We were told max of five days as long as it was filled with the right chemicals. We have a no #2 rule....

Trying the "teabag" chems from Thetford we were given to try. Seems to work and the pong is lavender. Always empty it at the end of a trip before leaving a site.

What ? Chemicals that evaporate the contents?

I think you were being told porkies.

Bio washing machine capsules/liquid do the same as 'right chemicals', except they do not make the seller as much profit.

Cost nothing so far. Have big pot of free Thetfords .. Will move onto Aldi Bio capsules when they have all gone... 😉

2-3 days according to how many s/markets' or other premises facilities I use.

We, like many others carry 2 cassettes - we even have friends who have three of them.
Where do you store the full cassette?
