We are looking for a car trailer with a GVW of between 1800 and 2000kg. If anyone has one or spots one for sale on their travels, we would appreciate a heads up.
Cheers
Sandra
Hi Ken. Yes I noticed that one. If I could win the argument on getting a small car I would have gone for that. He wants it to tow a Renault Scenic. I would be happy with a Smart!https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...-car-transporter-trailer.194077/#post-3268165
oops doesn't meet your weight requirements.
I wish Ian. Really miss our kayaks. I have been reduced to an inflatable paddle board now.Getting a bigger kayak? X

New van is tall enough already without kayaks on the roof.I didn’t know you got rid,, why?
I have had a couple of scenics, but never again with the electrical gremlins they suffer fromHi Ken. Yes I noticed that one. If I could win the argument on getting a small car I would have gone for that. He wants it to tow a Renault Scenic. I would be happy with a Smart!
This is a car we already own, or rather Colins mum is giving up driving and we can have the car. It is a 2002 auto, with 15,000 on the clock. Otherwise we wouldn't be towing such a big car.I have had a couple of scenics, but never again with the electrical gremlins they suffer from
they are a great design and loads of space, just known for electrical issues with higher mileages. if MiL has looked after it, it should be a great car for your needsThis is a car we already own, or rather Colins mum is giving up driving and we can have the car. When back in the UK we need something to get to the houses to do maintenance etc, so I guess the bigger (ish) car will be handy.
Oh Well, this car is too old for keyless entry. One less thing to go wrong.oops forgot to say most electrical issues with them are related to the keyless entry and start
Yes, we will be taking it to a weigh bridge very soon.Unless you are confident on the cars weight it may be a good idea to weigh it to make sure you get the correct trailer. You may have done this already of course.
We are waiting for our train at the Eurotunnel as I type. So grey and dull, I miss those beautiful blue sky's of the Jalon Valley!Been back in the UK a week now and have got the post-travelling blues!! Are you on your way back yet? If you decide to sell the trailer (and it's within my budget!) I'm in the market for one, so may be interested.
Safe travelling wherever you are - hope to see you in a field sometime
After all that research and searching, the mother in law changed her mind and wants to keep her car!!
However, we are still looking for a trailer for this little beauty -

Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday tooooo me.....OK I suppose Colin can own a bit of it too!
Now looking for a smaller lighter trailer.
God dammit, we have been to Woodford Trailers in Daventry and bought a new one. Typical! The trailer that @SnJ selling was to small for your Renault is back in ‘for sale’ section, that would do for the new car.
