Can I use my awning ? (1 Viewer)

I have a Hymer A class with a Thule awning , we have used the awning to keep the rain and sun out . I have just bought the Thule Panorama side walls for the awning so we now have an enclosed awning , this is what my question is about . When on a CMC or CCC club sites and your on a “standard pitch without awning” are you allowed to use it ? Or do they say you need to be on a “pitch with awning” ? .
it may sound a stupid question but I don’t want to get in trouble with the “club police”

Book a pitch with awning on C&MC sites as they are the same price as non-awning pitches.

If it’s just the roll out canopy that’s fine on a non awning pitch . Once you add a front and sides it’s classed as a full awning and would need the appropriate pitch .

We always book a pitch for an awning just in case we need to use it. Best to have this option in case you get a jobsworth warden so who'll quote some rule on.page 179.

Wind out/roll out awnings alone, are not the type of awning they mean - usually.

edit: misread the OP query 1st time. Yes. Adding sides & front does make a simple wind out canopy = an awning.
Rather that write a new post, I up voted the right answer at post 3

The reason I ask is that when booking a site sometimes the pitches with awnings are full but there is space for non awning. If a car with a caravan is on a non awning pitch it take up 2 spaces , one for the van and one for the car , my Moho with awning only uses two spaces , if you follow my logic
