My long suffering wife has bought me a birthday present.... to try and get me out of the doldrums...

Bless her for trying.... :giggler:

Booked in from this Tuesday at Salisbury CC... club site for three nights.... :drink::snooze::snooze::cooler:

Wednesday a walk along the tow path into the city, hopefully a nice meal and a glass or three, then a taxi back to the campsite...

That`s the plan anyway...

Any other "Funsters" there ???? :notworthy2:

If there is, I will treat you to a bevvy or three....

Thats a nice place to visit, a good city, we went there probably 5 years ago (y)

Have a great trip. Salisbury is on my list of places to visit one day.

Don't get too close to those standing stones Mo, they might fall over when they hear you coming.

I know they started to build a canal from Southampton to Salibury which was cancelled by the coming of the railway. So I was intrigued to see you mentioned walking along the tow path, what is it's route?

what is it's route?

And leaving it there?

Have good break and no digging up Stonehenge looking for newer jokes!
Don't even remember ever having seen Stonehenge. Need to i think. But not paying to look at a load of old stones.

Brilliant news on two counts Auld Yin!

One, you're getting out and about to give you a wee break(y)
and
two, we're booked in elsewhere!

Bullet dodged by one of us (just need to figure out which one)! :notworthy2:

Enjoy you're wee break away and hope it goes better than the start of ours what with a catalogue of problems when we got here!:crying:
Even our favvy pub is shut for three weeks but, at least, three others are open. Wonder how we know that!:giggle:

Latest thoughts are it was The London Brick Company!:whistle2::getmecoat:

I went before and after the contamination, the cathedral is my favourite, not the largest, grandest by any means but it was in my opinion stunning, what with novichok and covid the city could do with cheering up, but I doubt Old Mo's jokes will do the trick, so best he keep them to himself.
