Thanks to all. I was impressed with the marquee, Bob and son (I think) put it up in 5 hrs. It was massive and most appreciated. @bobnden .

Beer was as they say up here 'grand '. Besides my leisure battery issues, we all had a great time. The stripper from Gloucester was a bit of a disappointment, she sang instead @Ron & Gerri .

Thanks to @Terry and his far far better looking Manager and Boss.

@TheCaller eternally greatful.

Oh yes @Brendan for the use of his very heavy ladder, as used by Saudi Airlines.

What a fantastic weekend provided by Bob and Denise, Terry and Lisa, Despite the rain we had a brilliant time with 3 large marquees providing the shelter, great music from dynamix , Simon, Suggy,Ken , The caller,Geraldene and songs from gerri . A really fantastic event,and enjoyed by everyone,. Quizzes from Ken and Terry and play your card right from Lisa and Terry.

Hope I didn't wake you all up as I left this morning - tried to go quietly!

Now home & about to go out to our regular pub session - the music never stops. Hope I can stay awake!

Huge thanks to all those who worked so hard to make it a fun & successful weekend. Stars of the show were of course Bob's marquees - would have been a damp affair without them. But it was the people that filled them that made the weekend what it was.

Just wanted to reiterate what everyone else has said. Many thanks to the 'Likely Lads' Terry and Bob, and Lisa and Denise for a brilliant weekend - not to mention the extra onion cutters/fryers, cocktail makers, marquee erectors, quiz master extraordinaire Ken @canopus (although I was a tad suspicious when Lynda's team won......) the musical entertainers and of course the wonderful Dynamix for the superb disco.

The sun shone most of the time and the rain didn't spoil anything - we had a blast - as usual on a Fun meet! xx

Many thanks for a great weekend goes to Bob & Den, Terry & Lisa and also Dynamix, we needed a real good chill out weekend.
The rain didn't spoil things because of those massive marquees, cocktails were really good, just a few of us at first, then shortly after we had a massive circle of funster friends, that's what it's all about.

Left this morning and after a horrible drive on the M62 we are now sitting outside Britstops 618 which is what I call a proper pub, going to have a meal and sample a few later.
