I want to sell my 1996 Autotrail Scout,i have made up the text/pictures / -- even a video :xeek:
Is it better to place it on Autotrader or ebay to bid on, with a hidden reserve.

Hi Joner,
I put my previous MoHo on eBay year before last with an inflated Buy It Now price and asked for Offers - someone, out of the blue, (and unexpectedly) hit the Buy It Now button and turned up with the reddies.

Shocked - yes......

Regards,

Trikeman. ;)

I have found Fun to be as good a starting place as any for selling a good van, and its free. The last 2 vans I have sold were contacted directly through FUN and made themselves members to contact me. Where's my commission Jim :xlaugh:

free you say:D

ebay quick and good exposure........may be better putting it on a classified ebay add though?

Bl**** He**. Battery \ charger goes on the blink so buy a new motorhome!
I know and agree, theres no talking to her. Its like talking to a brick wall right now while shes sitting playing on ebay looking for another one.

At least you've got plenty space for two outside now what with the boat getting moved!:xsmile:

I thought 'classified' meant you were a business seller rather that a 'private' seller?

We are thinking of putting ours up for sale end of month begining of feb, it has two beds one fixed across the back and a drop down one above the lounge.
It's a 2010 Adria Matrix 680sp only reason we are going to sell is to buy a new van conversion as its only two of us most of the time as Sophie tends not to come and once she heads to uni we won't need bigger van.

Loads of extras with it so if interested will send you a list.

It's just like autotrader but on eBay. Sale goes through as normal private sale, no auction and no ®ω⊙}< paypal

I don`t know , it is my own (private) MH , so I don`t know if I am meant to say it is business :xeek:

A classified dad is like a buy it now one, not an auction.

You only say it's business if its a business sale if it's your own then no need no matter what business your in. Classified only means it's no an auction.

Classified only for buissnes sellers?

Not at all.....

Looked at your ebay ad. Nice van should just be right for family with kids. Also you mention you've sourced an RV which model/type?

I have previously sold a van via Preloved. Free to list and if you aren't in a rush to sell it this might be worth a try. Might as well list on different web sites if it doesn't cost you anything.
