Evening. I'm looking for a lively campsite close to beaches / bars / tourist tat shops and a kids club. I've seen Villasol and Villamar get a mention here. Has anyone stayed at these in a 8m motorhome please? Are the plots big enough? If you've got any other campsite suggestions they will be very welcome. Going at Easter 2021 (I'm a 'cup half full' kinda guy) thanks

Villasol is ok close to main bits.
Will take a 8m van lots of plots to choose from.
They will let you park up and go around and pick your own pitch.

thanks...Villamar then i reckon, seems to have lots of facilities and there is a bus into town from outside it

Good luck in Villamar. Let us know about the buses

We always stay at La Torreta, dogs allowed and it's closest to town next to the Palace. Nice pool too. Some pitches are enormous down the bottom but it can flood after a storm, should be ok at Easter though it's usually October when it floods.

No dogs! That's a positive, put it on my short list.
Know what you mean, seems to be mandatory to have it barking all day when anyone walks past. This year they really pushed the boat out and treated us to a continuously barking dog all night until the owners came home. I left a note under their door handle and they left early the next morning 😊👏

Raco is full of residents and they have a small kids play ground and pools but I wouldn't call it kid friendly as too may residents on there of the older generation.

The steakhouse on Dr Severo Ocha Avenue is permanently closed, it was dear and small portions anyway. We've been a few times to Country Ribs just past uncle peds (it's on Google Maps👍) Ann has steak and it's good, or there are places in the old town.

That
Villasol by far the best site in Benidorm for us

lovely pool, decent bar, close to walk into the old and new town and no dogs
That would be our 2nd choice, we like the pool and the grass round it is nice, but it was 3 euro extra per night and that adds up to a lot over 6 weeks (135). Also Ann doesn't like the back road it's on at night.

Looking at the website for Villamar it does say that the childrens’ club and activities are concentrated around the Summer months. I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed. It’s the same at Villasol which is where we stay which is why I thought I’d have a look.

thanks - they might have something for Easter but it’s not a showstopper either way. I noticed a massive waterpark nearby, but it might be a bit too early for that as well.

Incidentally, they are not taking any bookings until Jan 2021 in case anyone wanted to try

Villasol at the moment has no entertainment on due to some local restrictions.
But beer is 1 euros a pint in happy hour or 150 after.
They take asci and also caravan and camping club cards.
20 euro per night with 4 kw leccy per night.

i wish i was able to go...bloomin work and school get in the way of everything fun!

You can walk into town from villamar. No dogs allowed though, so nono if you have a dog. Toretta across the road great for dogs and good if it doesn't flood. Raco a bit further up good and dog friendly. Bus outside.

I think you mean Villasol 😉

We stay on Raco as we have a dog hoping to be there January 🤞
