We are getting our van reupholstered. Our company of choice after getting many quotes is https://www.cbscc.co.uk/caravan_and_boat/motor_caravan_furnishings_upholstery.html

We will go in and choose fabrics or leather on our way home from Greece next week.

Has anyone used them?

Can I see some before and after pictures of your vans if you’ve reupholstered, don’t mind what company, just looking for ideas.
Cheers.

This is our before..

I like the existing upholstery too ... I wouldn't ever go for leather/vinyl as it gets hot and sticky in summer and needs too much looking after ... give me material any time.

We have leather in our Hymer and it's so easy to treat and wipe clean, even with 2 Poodles. We've just got back from Italy, Greece & Bulgaria and even in those temps, seats were always cool to sit on.

We had a very good quote from Regal at Ilkeston Derbyshire for cream leather.
But we needed a new central heating boiler so are making do with the material upholstery atm.

Leather cost more and it was better than materials a couple of decades ago, so I can understand why it used to be premium.

However, I think it's just perception that keeps it premium now. It's hot and sweaty, needs maintenance and often looks stretched pretty quickly. I think fabrics are actually more functional.

Mmm I’m swaying now...

I was thinking full fabric on sofa seats (removable and washable) with some fabric and leather fixed covers on the cab seats..

In these sort of colours..

But seeing all the full leather, it does look stunning.
We’ve had leather sofas at home so I know how they feel to sit on etc.

You lot are going to be giving me another sleepless night!

Also I love the bold check or stripe look too.

Basically anything that isn’t hymer blue!
