Is it possible to place photo in avatar box using an I pad,I've tried and failed?

Never done it but I know a workaround that would work. Upload a photo to our Broken Link Removed Then, once there you can click on the little avatar icon above the photo and it makes that picture your avatar.

Click on the Camera just above you post your reply this opens a tool bar at the bottom of the reply box click on up load file which will ask you to take a photo or upload one from you photos just click on choose file which opens your photos in your iPad

It may have failed if the photos file size exceeded the forums maximum size.
Can't remember the max size but it isn't very large...kb rather than mb .
Try resizing the pic and try again.

On the I Pad I find the best app to resize photos is Image Size easy to use once downsized they easily download on the I. Pad.
