Food prices seem very reasonable😋😋😋
Just had a ploughmas platter for sharing, loads of everything, last night we went egton , the postgate inn that was also free on a church car park next door.
We love these pub stops, we use Keith's pubstops website but have found it's getting a bit outdated now, a few we have rung say they don't do it anymore.

If anyone is wondering, this is what we use.

Visit Hunmanby Gap whilst you are in the area, just along the coast. Cracking beach, lovely cafe overlooking beach (bacon butties, full English etc.) and Carpark only £2.

The Piebald Inn, Hunmanby do stop overs. Haven’t been but looks fine.

I looked at the trip advisor site for reviews and on person said the staff were rude and had to leave having bought a round of drinks but then read on the said the trouble started because they eat sandwiches out of their bags🤣🤣🤣 I wonder why the staff were upset, in photos you see a sign saying not to consume your own food, some people make you wonder.
We may visit soon, thanks chaser

Piebald Inn. Food is great, all in pies. Blackboard system tells how many of each pie is left. They have electric hook ups but at £35 per night most people don’t bother, if you do, you do qualify for £10 off food costs though. Handy for Bempton Cliffs RSPB

Well we did visit but the cafe was as far as I could get, did look good though and very good cheap car park.

We are home again now , it was just a quick trip as Julie wanted to go to York for her birthday, the first night we parked on York cattle market, because we wanted the park and ride the next day, a campra stop, it has an all day market cafe and toilets and showers but did think it a bit dear at £12 as we didn't want any of it.
The next night we parked on a church car park in egton next to the postgate pub this was free and we dined in the pub as usual,
Next day visited Whitby to have the fish and chips and parked at the place in the op ,
Then we did the coast run and finished up at another free pub back just below York on a round tour.

Watch for the hairpin half way down, especially on the way up. Go wide or risk the overhang grounding.

Once, in my youth, I got barred from the Wyke for lobbing an ashtray at a mate when he chucked beer mats on the 'space invaders' table game while I was playing.

That looks really good.

Just checked out the local ones to me and pretty accurate as well.

I do love a map with information on it !
