Most truck pumps have them, might be the opposite side to the fuel pumpThanks, we would normally not bother but in 5 weeks touring Sicily we have not seen an Adblue pump in any filling station. Its not a panic yet but I was looking to see if I could make it easier than drive in and out.
Unsure of Sicily but you can buy it in 5 litre containers in supermarkets if things get desperate. Cost goes up enormously but am sure you knew thatThanks, we would normally not bother but in 5 weeks touring Sicily we have not seen an Adblue pump in any filling station. Not in Sicily! I have been looking at that obviously. Indeed drove into 2 specifically as I did not need much diesel. The site owner here scratched his head when I asked about a pump, as did another Italian standing with him. There is a garage around the corner selling in containers so Faf around it is !!Just pull into the truck diesel pumps. Almost all seem to have as blue now
I bet that they have all bypassed the adblue on their trucks to save the agro. Not in Sicily! I have been looking at that obviously. Indeed drove into 2 specifically as I did not need much diesel. I do as well but it is a two person job to get it into the tank - plain awkward so I am aways on the look out for a pump. Nic problem in Scandinavia for sureI usually keep a 10 litre lot in the garage.
Why not just buy a couple of those and store?
I would have thought the fuel stations for the trucks would have pumps as would most truck garages.
How much do you use, I thought you only put a small amount in, never heard of pumps, but you see it in every filling station in gallon cans, so thought a can must last for ages, if not it must be a hell of an extra expense.OK I give up there isn't an app, I was only asking. I don't need anymore Janet and John instructions on buying it in a container. Thanks.
The pumps have a very small nozzle, I guess to avoid people putting diesel in by mistake. They are at all garages that have truck pumps in the UkHow much do you use, I thought you only put a small amount in, never heard of pumps, but you see it in every filling station in gallon cans, so thought a can must last for ages, if not it must be a hell of an extra expense.
My tank holds 40 litres or so and I had 2600 mile range on that accorrding to on board display when I left UK. Just over 1000 left. So not enough to get us to UK. The pump price is circa 50p a litre, container £1.6 plus the faf. After not seeing a pump in Sicily I started to wonder about the rest of Italy. It is retarded here so probably all Euro 4 lorries at best so Adblue not an issue. How much do you use, I thought you only put a small amount in, never heard of pumps, but you see it in every filling station in gallon cans, so thought a can must last for ages, if not it must be a hell of an extra expense.
In a car yes. So is mine but not a lorry engine. My 2 litre Peugeot uses ad blue, we had travelled about 5 k and a waning light came up to ad blue. Checked the handbook and it advised, next 5000 miles. Topped up at the next blue pump and put in around 10 litres. On 16k miles now and no further warnings as yet, but must be close. Apparantly 1 litre ad blue is good for around 1k miles.
I was advised NOT to use an adblue pump for my Mercedes based MH. Although it has an 18L Adblue tank I was advised that these pumps have fast delivery for trucks with much larger tanks. Are you able to control the fluid delivery with these pumps so that you don't get overspill if the flow is very fast?As the title, I have an LPG app and a fuel price app, but cannot seem to locate one with an Adblue filter.
