We have a five times moved Eurotunnel booking.

As it was the fifth time of moving they gave us a “holding booking”. Out on 1st February and return on 2nd February.!

We intend to change the booking to out on 1st February and return about two or three weeks later.

We also have a booking for mid April for a five week period .

We go Monday too, shuttle booked, drive through France and Spain heading for the Algarve 👍
We are looking to do the same in 2 weeks time. What route are you taking through Spain to get to the Algarve? Its our 1st time so any advice welcome. 😊

I bought my Hymer in 2019 and had 3 months in France that summer (1.5 in the UK). I was planning to come over every year and do it. That's worked out really well! It's been in storage since Sep 2019. What with Covid and another little spot o' cancer treatment. Booked to come over this year. Just hope the Hymer is ok.

We were booked for Monday 17th… bottled it this week and rebooked for 9th Feb… driving straight down to SE Spain, then meandering back up as the weather warms up, culminating in two weeks fishing in France last week of April and first week in May… can’t wait! 😎
What about the 90 day rule?

In south of France at the moment, just had a few days over the border in Italy. Been here since just before the blockade, got to be back beginning of Feb as 90 days up.

Has anyone dared to break the 90/180 day rule? I wonder what they'd do about it?

We rebooked yesterday for first week February returning last week April, cannot wait so excited! Would have gone sooner but I went back to work after postponing 27 December, and promised I’d do all of January! It’s no hardship gives us time to get reorganised. 😊

I very much doubt you need anything for entry to Spain. Mainly because absolutely nobody will know you have entered Spain. There haven’t been manned borders for many years now.

Going in May but on the motorbikes via the tunnel. Really hopeful that by then we’ll not need any tests of either type. Both riders fully bolstered up so with a bit of luck 🙏🤞. We’ll be ok.

We wanted to travel through France next week but couldn’t find a way of getting a PCR test done within the 24 hours as we have to travel from North Wales to the ferry or tunnel. Any suggestions?

You don’t need anything if you drive into Spain in tens of forms etc. You may need to show your COVID vaccinations.

You don’t need a pcr if you are fully vaccinated just a lot but not the nhs free one. Loads on line or use a chemist near departure point in 24 hrs before you leave. Result and certificate in 20 mins. Lloyds in Sainsbury Canterbury is popular.

I have googled French requirements and it definitely says you have to have PCR test even if you are fully vaccinated unless it’s changed since Friday
