I did have one on top of my 2011 Land Rover Defender up until 3wks ago. Now it’s normally the Defenders that get nicked but no, it disappeared overnight complete with the full length roof rack. On the drive with crystal clear cctv (camera savvy culprits) never heard a thing as the thatcham1 alarm never went off and was not deactivated. 26mins from start to finish with 10 fixing points. The only damage was to a 5” length of bent rain gutter as they struggled to get 1 clamp off. They’d obviously done there homework as I’d replaced the hex head bolts with roundhead torx and backed/locked up with nylock nuts behind the captive nuts.

I'd put money on Scarborough, North Bay

Me too……..if I had a fiver.

Nah, can't be Scarborough....unless someone stole the castle and a whole street of hotels.

Must admit, at first glance I thought it was marine drive until I looked closer

They are only taking up the same space as the motorhome next door but one (y)
Exactly. I don't see anything unreasonable about that. They're not causing any harm or inconveniencing anyone.

It's a C15 he's clearly getting ready to do some welding!
Don't I know it! I had a ten year old Romahome on a C15 base and the cab firewall, cills, floor, windscreen surround and even the bonnet were seriously rusted and crumbling like digestive biscuit.
According to a Citroen dealer the C15's were aimed at the lease market for plumbers, decorators, florists and the like and only designed to last a max of 5 to 7 years.

Me neither. But it's not what we think that counts. That sort of thing is a red rag to local councillors and jobsworths. And it all supports their view that we are a nuisance.

Good gracious, what miserable people. I've never experienced hassle from anyone, but then again since getting my motorhome 11 years ago I've only toured abroad, stopping daytime and overnight in all manner of places.

I wouldn't sleep easy at night there, that's for sure. The comings and goings of other parkers wouldn't make for a peaceful stay either.

Nowt wrong with Whitby it’s fabulous. Just don’t go in school holidays.

Agreed. It's not somewhere I'd choose for the same reasons.
However, we don't actually know if they intended to stay overnight.

Local Councillors who have any connection with MHoming in any form should recuse themselves, or be barred, from speaking or voting on such topics.

I had a C15 in 1966. My first new bike, BSA C15 250cc  (y)
