Hi we are travelling to Spain in December via Santander and need an aire/campsite around the Zaragossa area on our way down to Benidorm.

Can anyone recommend somewhere not far from the motorway.

Thanks

Ginny

We stopped at Medinicelli (spelling might be off) on way back up this month, beautiful location, free, even water

At a best guess was 50 miles south of Zaragoza

Lots to consider from Campercontact site, including coords for Cascante:

We used the aire at Falces recently and it was perfect for an overnight stop. A little bit of a diversion off the dual carriageway but worth it.

Thanks Brian,

I take it this is not like the French motorway aires where we would never stop overnight?

Ginny

Hi Ginny, we would not stop on the motorway aires in France, but are quite happy to stop here.
The service area is on the AP68 and is manned 24 hrs a day. There is a cafeteria and petrol station,
there are also toilets and showers. We park in the coach bays which are where the blue P sign is in
the image.

Brian.

We stopped at Solbradiel on the AP68, as recommend, absolutely no problems, we had breakfast in the services and filled up with fuel before setting of the following morning.

If we go that way we stop on any of the many Truck Stops south of Zaragoza. Park safely so you dont get clouted by a truck. What on earth can happen to you. You cannot get robbed if your doors are locked. BUSBY.

tendency these days is to force a window which is real easy, and fish up anything within reach..trousers with wallets..handbags..etc..get the picture? easy pickings! That way they don't have to worry about alarms...

Cheap Milenco window alarms of more use than expensive all singing all dancing alarm systems these day...

Brian, this looks ideal for us driving from Santander to Benicarlo for Tonka's rally in march. Do you have the co ords by any chance
Thanks
Pat

Hi Pat, Unfortunately I do not have the co ordinates for Sobradiel. All I can tell you is that it is on the AP68, about 5 miles past the last toll booth on the peage section.

You will find the co-ordinates on my aires map. Click the link below and zoom in to find it.
