Is it possible to display the location of a classified advert on the 'front page', I am sure that is not the right terminology however I mean on the initial listing of classifieds. I know I can open up the advert to see it displayed but soon get bored opening adverts to see they are at the other end of the country. It would also give more accurate idea of interest in the advert. I may be interested in a particular item but not if it is several hundred miles away.

If what ever advert you are looking at in "Classified`s"....

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and there is a map of where approx the advert stems from..(y)

That is true, but you have to open that advert then scroll down. Get bored doing that when just browsing the section. When you first click on 'classifieds' you see a column of items for sale, I would like to see the location/town displayed there,

Im sure the boss could add a location field for people to type a location into so you can see it.
BUT is there any point, if you see a product you need/want, you can then see if it is an area you can reach by clicking it, or as we know the advertiser may even be able to ship it.

I rarely look at the classifieds so there tends to be a bunch of them so do not look at all the full listing. A used toilet cassette, for instance, may be handy if near and at a good price. One thing I have noticed is how dear many of these used items are and how long they stay listed, but that is another subject. I was just hoping to simplify the browsing for an item that I may buy on impulse.

Subscribers  do not see these advertisements

If you buy something you can always advertise for help from the funster courier services. I've been lucky a few times. Most recently I made a cheap purchase from Doncaster but funster is happy to keep it til im passing.

It's not what you earn that makes you rich, it's what you spend that makes you poor
