12 volt plug

Hi Crazy grandad here,
I have just found a 12 volt socket in our MoHo but haven't a clue what sort of 12 volt plug i could put in it. If someone could help me with this question i would be most grateful, I have 2 photo's on this post showing the socket.

Agree, Hella plug gives a much better contact.

You can buy a converter which plugs in and gives you a more normal socket, I have one somewhere in the garage.

Buy the correct plug and it'll fit both.

This was one I found quickly so you know what they look like. The red sleeve is removable to fit Hella sockets.

Most if them are rubbish also you are introducing more connections into the circuit far better to buy the correct plug.

Can someone advise please. Am not on hook up. My 12 v socket for which I charge my phone, gates VERY hot after several minutes, and starts pinging. (Don't know if it's relevant but it's European with adaptor). I tried another phone charger wire and it's the same, so the problem is the 12v...
