Is that the bus depot part of the parking, does not look like the Aire?Lots of the spaces at Hubert lathom aire near Sangatte seem to have been posted off..concreted into the floor.
Not sure what they are planning to do with the space...maybe they may be adding services ??.

Yes I know but they shouldn't have so not wasted space. Maybe they should swap the bus depot and Aire round as it always seems popular and one of our favourites.People used to park up there when the aire was full so it looks like it will just be wasted space now

But they shouldn't have anyway?Wasted space as in no one can park there now.
Never been any problems there and a good mix of nationalities so they wouldn't know which way people were going anyway.Watch out for stowaways.

Only busses I believe. No one as in cars, buses, coaches.
Yes people have been parking/overnighting there for ages totally allowed/expected. It's not a bus "depot" per day is it ? it's a convenient turn round point for the bus thats all. It has been marked out for parking for years. But they shouldn't have anyway?
Sign says busses only if my basic French is correct. I know its been used as a type of overflow but......Yes people have been parking/overnighting there for ages totally allowed/expected. Must say I never noticed the new concrete pads this morn and didn't even notice posts.? But these barriers and sign was in place and I can see them in thatWe stayed on the site for the first time last night. Only the road with the toilet block and adjacent (parallel to) the cemetery wall did not have height barriers on, allowing the motor homes to park there. Last night when we arrived we noticed a newly concrete base pad each side of the road near to the toilet. This morning workmen bolted down a timber post on each pad with holes at the top ready for height barrier to be fitted. Looked to us that motorhome parking along this road was to be stopped. Wife looked at a notice board map nearby and it showed motorhome parking at Wissant and Boulogne but no mention at Sangatte.
They could of put an emptying point in the toilet and even charged a few of ā¬ to stay to cover costs, but then I suppose the FLT's would still use the toilet FOC anyway.we were there last week, local authority probably fed up with people emptying their black waste in the toilets, with signs everywhere asking you not to. Looks like another good free aire close to the tunnel disappearing due to the minority spoiling it for the majority.
A woman at the citi or what ever it's called shopping place parked next to us making a brew reckons they are dropping facilities on the top "overflow/summer" end that's why the bollards have gone in the ly are dropping them behind the bollards on the tarmac. ??? Don't quote me but she says "she knows a fella" looolThey could of put an emptying point in the toilet and even charged a few of ā¬ to stay to cover costs, but then I suppose the FLT's would still use the toilet FOC anyway.
