Collected my silver screens on route to here today and well chuffed they are in perfect condition...just need to do something with my mirrors now so I can use them as a previous owner has fitted these supports to the mirrors so I suspect something is broken.

Hoping I can repair the problem rather than needing new ones as they ain't cheap.....and Still a small list of repairs to get done when home.

But good news is I think we've got somewhere with the engine charging problem ....will do more investigation tomorrow.

Does anyone else suffer from that problem when you put something "somewhere safe"
And then completely forget where that was ??

I know toby isn't that big but when the item is tiny it's a pure pain in the bum grrrrr
Yep, do it with a least one thing on every trip. Spent 3 days looking for my passport once.

In other news I just removed those two bars that a previous owner had attached to my mirrors.....and they dont seem to have been doing anything...the mirrors are still solid ..so hopefully the prat had just fitted to stop vibration or something.

Unfortunately I now have 4 screwholes in the body of my van to plug up

I wish folk would think about some modifications before they do them ......

But at least the mirrors didn't fall apart which was my concern

Can use my new silver screen tonight now ?

Just put the screws back in with some sealant ( maybe shorten them just they are to long without the brackets attached)
Glad the screens were worth getting
