I know that strictly speaking this is the Solar Power sub-forum but I thought this was still probably the best place for this thread...
My travels will hopefully take me to largely sunny parts so I do plan to invest in some solar panels. However I hope to hug the coastline a lot of the time so I thought wind turbines might also be worthwhile.
Do many peopke double up in this way? Can the two energy sources be compatible or do they need to be independant? Presumably you can't have your tubine up whilst driving so you are limited on when you can take advantage of it?
