Just musing about where to go next winter and the suggestion of north Ibiza came up.

Has anyone been in the winter and would you recommend it? Also, there seem to be a good few ferry crossings. Any suggestions on the best ones to look at?

I really quite fancy exploring somewhere new. Hope someone has some info that can help.

Thank you!

Quietens down a lot... and same as any resort lot`s of places close up for the winter..

And can get chilly...daytime and night... had snow there a few years ago.. :(

Better of going to one of the Canary Islands... Allways warm even in winter... :sun::whew:

Thanks @old-mo.

Which of the Canary Isles would you recommend?

I'm still keen to find some more info from someone who has been to Ibiza.

Anyone else?

Another vote for Morocco. Unfortunately due to family circumstances we probably won't be going next winter.

Agree with old-mo it is as dead as a dodo out of season with most places on lock down, and yes it probably wont be very warm. Lanzarote would be my choice too....

The thing that puts people off the canaries and Ibiza is the cost of the ferries. It is also quite limiting where you can go before you need another ferry. W

Whereas Morocco is cheap to get to and has lots of choice.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was thinking of Morocco perhaps around January time but want to go somewhere completely different before that for a couple of months. I've checked the ferry prices and yes - they're not cheap!

Thanks again.

Sorry to hear that Terry, hope things not too bad.

Thanks, no problem. just that mum's 90th birthday can't be missed and she wants a big family gathering. Guess who's organising?
