just heard on central news that it is 100 years since thomas crapper died , the man who promoted the toilet and my daughter said is that why they say what they do, i never knew that.

what would we do without good old thomas crapper

Thomas Crapper invented the ballcock and cistern so he gave us flushing toilets, god forbid without him we'd have to cart our waste out to a communal dumping point like we do in the motorhome

Actually (old chap ) the term 'crap' was used before Crapper's invention.

Anyway, I have a Thomas Crapper Day every day, sometimes twice a day!
