Yep, that might apply too (n). But remember that when spending the kid's inheritance, after the Chancellor has had his 40% the £3,000 is only going to cost them £1,800 :D.

As already said @Lenny HB buy direct from Germany even with freighting cheaper than U.K. good looking e-bike(y)
A couple of years ago I bought 4 Scott e-bikes from Germany got charged €60 for freight for all 4.

I think it's time for your visit to Specsavers.:D

Well it's got 2 wheels. A miserable 8Ah battery. Same miserable 250W motor that everyone has.

And worse, whoever buys one worries every second it's out of sight.

So what will this do that the A&S bike will not do ?

Get up steep hills to start with, I don't think AS even do a crank drive.

You can buy a brand new 110cc Honda Vision for about £1700.
I know, I know, you can't fold it up. But think of the workmanship and components that go into a Honda vision compared to a pushbike, it just shows the pushbikes are overpriced.

You'll find if you bothered to investigate that there is far far more workmanship and engineering in any high end bicycle than there is in a Honda Vision or any other mass produced low end basic motorcycle.
