Yep, that might apply too . But remember that when spending the kid's inheritance, after the Chancellor has had his 40% the £3,000 is only going to cost them £1,800 .And some would say more money than sense.lol
Yep a whole 75% cheaper than a small car. Got to be a bargain ....not !!!That's about standard for a decent eBike.

When you think £2,500 will be enough you're £500 short.

I think it's time for your visit to Specsavers.Looks similar to an A&S £600 bike to me.
A couple of years ago I bought 4 Scott e-bikes from Germany got charged €60 for freight for all 4.As already said @Lenny HB buy direct from Germany even with freighting cheaper than U.K. good looking e-bike

Get up steep hills to start with, I don't think AS even do a crank drive.Well it's got 2 wheels. A miserable 8Ah battery. Same miserable 250W motor that everyone has.
And worse, whoever buys one worries every second it's out of sight.
So what will this do that the A&S bike will not do ?

You can buy a brand new 110cc Honda Vision for about £1700.
I know, I know, you can't fold it up. But think of the workmanship and components that go into a Honda vision compared to a pushbike, it just shows the pushbikes are overpriced.
Better not say what I recently paid for a Kalkhoff Integrale.
Richard.
