just been on the phone to book and the guy said yes, we do have a room at our disposal.:thumb:

he said the winner of the "best attendance turn-out" trophy gets to use the room the following year so its very likely we get it next year as well.

the marqee was a little cramped last year....

Yes, Gina asked us if we wanted the room last year It was going to be a surprise Last year the marquee coped, just. I can still remember those large pools of water on the roof.

So yes, this year we will have our own Funsters Only warm and dry room to socialise in throughout the whole weekend No doubt it will see coffee by day, a few beers by night and Bacon butties on Sunday morning:thumb: Then we have to clean it and hand it back to Gina as we found it

Last three days to save a Fiver,

If you are thinking of coming with us to Newark then make a decision now and save some cash. The funster £5 reduction finishes in just three days. You can still book to come with us after the 31st Jan but you won't get the discount. So if you are coming book now!

Looks like there will be about 50 Funsters turning up, why not come along and put a face to a name. It will be great fun, I'm looking forward to it, meeting up with those funsters I know and meeting new ones:thumb: Come book up, you know you want to.

Any self builds going?

We are coming to Newark in March on our first Campervan/Motorhome venture. Our camper is currently a 'Day' van but we will be converting it after our weekend to a 'Night/longer term' van, with the help and advice we hope to get from seasoned adventurers that weekend. Is anyone going who has done major conversions to their vans/motorhomes, or have an 'unusual' design van/motorhome that we may be able to feed info off? Hoping to make new friends and and 'blend in' (mind you, we will hardly be able to slip in un-noticed).
