From a standing start in 2013 where I wasn't convinced that motorhoming was for me but we went and bought our first van anyway, to the end of our 5th European tour which finished a couple of days ago we realise that we are well and truly hooked. During this time, excluding quite a few UK trips and rallies, we have done:

21,293 miles
34,260 klms
258 days in the van
123 sites/aires/wild camping
12 countries

All our routes are on this map colour coded. Only been home for 2 days and we're now discussing the next trip to ...................????? Well, we have a motorhome so it could be anywhere.

You've gone to great lengths to avoid my favourite place, Switzerland, was it the vignette?

Not somewhere we fancy having been to Marakesh.

That's like saying "don't want to visit the UK because we've visited London".

We aren't keen on Marrakesh. Meknes is similar but much smaller and a delight to walk round in total safety.

The rest of the country is so varied, from the edge of the Sahara to the glorious seaside city of Essaouira to the amazing hills of Tafraoute.

It's a wonderful winter destination. The plonker person who is going in September is in for a close encounter of the Sauna kind.

Not really. We have previously travelled through Switzerland several times in the car when we have been driving to Crete. I think it's mainly because we are looking for some out of season warmth so tend to head south.

Any more maps about?

This is ours in just a bit longer from 2010, apologies for the light switch in the middle as it's on the kitchen wall:) and this doesn't include last years tourView attachment 143839
You will probably wonder why all our French trips seem to include the borduex area , that's because Julie has friends that live around there and we always include a visit there and this year we happened to include a twin lakes break which is in the same area(y):)
Which is where @Popeye found us in his photo in the avatar.
