Got my van last week, and just spent a great week in West Wales. Now, this ma go on a bit, but I ordered a converted Sprinter in January, paid a large deposit for delivery end of February. I waited, and waited and waited, lockdown came and went, then I waited more. At no point did the supplier ever contact me, I had to chase all the time, each time a different reason for being late. Two weeks before we were due to go away I contact them again and get told that they are no longer going to do the conversion. You can guess I wasn't happy, anyhow, found a much better company to do business with and picked up a Sprinter MWB conversion with everything I wanted ( and it came with an inflatable driveaway awning too ). Incredibly happy with it. Completely new to all this ( though did have a Caravele a few years back). Looking to tour Europe when able to. I do a lot of running, triathlons etc and my plan is to travel to events in the UK and abroad with the van and make a decent break of it. Then when I retire in 33 paypackets time (monthly paid sadly not weekly !), more trips abroad and longer tours .... interested in a bit of wild camping near where I live ( hint hint, South Wales btw) an learning more about the techie bits like Mifi and so on ( is it worth getting a satellite dish as well or not) ... anyhow, that's all I can think of now !
