Window leaking !!! (1 Viewer)

We've just noticed a leak on one of our windows after a torrential downpour.
The water appears to be coming in near one of the window catches but it's not running down the window. It's coming up from beneath the bottom catch. It's a Seitz window. Can't figure out where it's coming from.
Any help please ?

I would check the seal all the way round. The water might be getting in higher up but only finding an outlet near the catch.

I checked all of our top-hinged windows recently. I don't know if yours is the same, but on ours if you unscrew the adjustable telescopic strut that keeps it open and push the window upwards it will pop out of the supporting rail/hinge that runs along the top. The rail on one of ours had come loose at one end, with a gap between itself and the side wall of the MH. The screw was rusty and the hole was worn so I went along the length of it with fresh sealant.
