White staining on decals

We have white streaks on the decals of our Autotrail. I've tried washing and polishing but without any success. Does anyone know how to remove them?

Try uPVC cleaner.
The decals will be some form of plastic film and the cleaner MIGHT work.

I had similar problems with polish staining on my decals. Autoglym recommended using their "Fast Glass" to remove the polish. Tried it and it worked a treat.

Oh...don’t know about streaks...decals...I had some butterflies put on by previous owner...boiling water, sulphuric acid and 8 hours hard graft did it...

I used to do vinyl signs and graphics....still have the cutting equipment in fact.

Anyway to remove vinyl signs etc. I used to use a hot air gun or hairdryer to warm them up as I went.

Then polish the area to remove the dirt and traffic film from around them so you couldn’t see the outline.

Be careful cleaning the vinyl with harsh chemicals as they may start to dissolve.......test in a inconspicuous place first.
