Not sure if the horn attached to the crumple rail in the piccy is what you're looking for or the relay itself?

The only 'horn' I have there is the security alarm. That can't be it, surely?

Wouldn’t have thought so mine was a right bugger to get to as the space is very limited and it is just behind the headlight nearer to outside body shell.?

I've had both headlamps out - Nearside one so that I could get a power supply from the fusebox. Offside is out also. Will have to have another look tomorrow.

Have you tried taking out the wheel arch liner could be behind there?

I have taken the offside undertray out. I think the wheel arch liner is going to be next!

The horn in our ( lhd) 2018 Ducato is just inside and above the vent below the headlamp in this picture.

It can be see quite clearly from underneath, though, how you get your hands on it.....

FOUND IT!
As AllanM above pointed out, on the X290 the standard horn - a Fiamm unit, is located under the offside headlamp.
Remove the headlamp (two T30 bolts and shove the unit towards the centre line of the vehicle to release)
Now by sticking your head right into the space where the headlamp was and looking down and back towards your body, you will see the horn held on by a single 10mm nut.
New one fitted and sounds great!
Thanks everyone for all your comments and assistance.
