Where are all you vw fans

Wouldn't take it if it came free with a box of corn flakes, bloody ugly & easily the worst vehicle I'd ever driven, thats before we even get to how they folded up in a collision. Legs do not make for a good crumple zone.

Pah, you must have driven a Friday afternoon van, built when everyone was tired and just wanted to I home for the weekend, I've had three and they drive lovely.... For a 30+ year old vehicle 😂

I concur! Motorways and sidewinds come to mind and induce nightmares! 25 mpg on a good day - if there was one and my chiropractor was happy with my frequent custom! I'll leave this one to the dream merchants thank you very much!

Don’t see the romance with them.

I had a 2 litre twin carb T2 work van years ago. Not bad at the time.

But I just don’t get it.

Had 2 T5 window Vans. Two factory orders that were a nightmare.

I've ran T25's for years, love them

Camped for the last 8 years in ours and only recently moved up to an ih pvc

Been all around the UK in ours, but it is modified top spec caravelle, TDi, off-road tyres, cruise control, comfortable seats, and gets around 35mpg,better than any of my other vehicles

Not for me either I'm afraid , just thought it looks a good one for the many who love them.

I know where all the VW fans were on Sunday- the M25- long convoys of them, never saw some many VW’s and South Mimms service was full as well lunch time, the we’re doing Run the Ring charity drive.

I've had over 20 T25 transporters , caravelles and campers ...fantastic motors

The synchro was brilliant go anywhere a Landover would

My only gripe with them was access to engine and the water cooled ones were prone to overheating problems

I had all years from 1980 aircooloed to a late 91 water cooled 2.1 injection model

What rubarb and custard. o_O I loved my T25 panel van with a homemade conversion. Many a surf trip had in it and wild camped all over.(y)
Nah I meant the champagne gold colour ...I only had one rhubarb and custard lol , had one mustard and cream , 2 metallic red , and my mean green camping machine one ...
Sadly not many photos of my ones

Just the green one and one of the caravelles

Every one I've heard chuffing and spluttering along sounds like it has a knackered engine and a blowing zorst.
It amuses me when advertisers itemise all the work done and money spent as if it's a selling point. In my experience that means the vehicle is still going to be a dog, needing constant attention and a money pit.
