Without a shadow of doubt 2009 October (ish) at Bath racecourse place............

..............It is the only rally we have attended, I keep looking for local ones that fall within my days off but keep failing.

For me it has to be the first New Year rally at Shrewsbury that we organised, a spur of the moment daft idea and then a great bunch of people turned up and made in memorable.

it would have to be @old-mo‘s first timer rally at his place in stafford, it was good fun but mainly because i5s the only rally we’ve been on.:giggle:

Remember that awesome thunderstorm half way through the hen party???? 🤣🤣

Yes. My wind out awning was lifted off the floor and Terry and Carol's grandson were hanging onto it trying to hold it down.. But it lifted them up and it ripped!!! Then you and the band did a fabulous evening of entertainment.

Rallies were really good in those days. Nostalgia creeps in.

Would love to catch up maybe a small select meet 😮

Mine was a Thetford bash a few years ago only our second rally and shy, will never forget Jaws riding round one handed on a moped with what i think was a megaphone instructing people to join in with what was going on , if they wanted of course .

Got to be honest, I don’t think I’ve been to a bad one, including informal “meets” like Morocco and the rolling meet on the Mosel. all different, different people, different agendas, Misterton, Pembrey, Lincoln, Valentine meet, FFF, 60’s Soul Survivors, Southport, Bagwell, Pershore Plum, Stratford, Malvern, Shrewsbury, Chester, Sunshine Festival, York and Wrenbury, ah Wrenbury.....naked butlers, one who broke all my Villeroy and Bosch glasses:rolleyes: drunken hens, brilliant music sessions, thunderstorms, not to mention shite good stuff for sale outside the vans, and bloody good bitter down the pub and curry in the locale, and Jim going for the record of most women in his van, dirty barsteward. Met some great people and a few tossers ;) but in the main had great fun at them all. Had several rallys and informal meets planned for this year but then I think most have more or less written this year off. Life’s what you make it so enjoy and see you all in a field sometime soon(y)

old-mo thank you for this thread it's bought back so many good memories I do agree the meet at Marjal Jim organised was very special with us all literally taking over a whole avenue and setting up tables and having street party's most days.
The get togethers and singing around the camp fires at Tagazoute Beach in Morocco
The non meet meets on Shell Island with fires on the Beach and sitting watching the sea until the early hours.
All the wonderful New Year's Rallys and haganap not to be forgotten Cotton Arms meet
Maurice it's been quite a ride, long may it continue, and meeting so many lovley people along the way.

Not a rally but a show.. at Peterborough............It was our first one....
I knew nothing... and really got a case of the misery's when I found I had paid about £40 just to be parked in a field !!

Made a complete tit of myself over it.. Pamela and Nigel were marshalling and bore the brunt of the tantrum.... Sorry guys.. I still feel stupid and sorry for it !!
