We're thinking of a visit to NI later this year so any NI or just into Eire members got good info ?

Get info from N Ireland tourist board, loads to see including the best coastal route in Europe, giants causeway, the large expanse of Lough Erne with wild camping areas everywhere, too many attractions to list them all

Giants causeway , bushmills,whisky factory
Are 2 that spring to mind

Here now visiting family. Deighans campsite, Benone near Limavady. Beside a beach at foot of cliffs. Gorgeous! Blaney caravan park & campsite. 8 miles west of Enniskillen, on the shores of Lough Erne. Also, Castle Archdale caravan park, near Enniskillen,at Irvinestown, within the grounds of the castle country park also on the shore of lough Erne. Been to all of them, highly recommend. (y)

The titanic museum is really great.
A Belfast bus tour is also a must, especially as it goes to Stormont. It's also good for showing the wall art.
Gotta get the best coffee and doughnuts from Guilt Trip (it's a small shop but the coffee is the best)
On a weekend the St George market is one of our favourites.
Giant's causeway.

The Dark Hedges is also good, especially if you're into photography. Nice drive in a MH.

The first radio transmission for commercial purposes was made between Ballycastle and Rathlin Island, in the summer of 1898 by Guglielmo Marconi. Ships crossing the Atlantic bound for Liverpool passed close to Rathlin Island. There was a wire telegraph to Ballycastle, but no link to Rathlin. Marconi made a radio link, and got the contract from shipping insurance company Lloyds.

All sounds really interesting so thank everyone.
BTW what/where are The Dark Hedges?

Thanks Ivys - there doesn't seem to be a thanks button anymore for a quick thank you. I still have a 'like' and 'quote'but no thanks.
Is it my computer which does do strange things sometimes?

Rose hip café Bainbridge, eat in or take away only small frontage but good classic Ulster food.(y)

Best thing The People.
To be sure, to be sure ;)
It's quite incredible to think that they had so much violence fairly recently. I really enjoy the Irish friendships we have made. Our son, daughter-in-law and grandkids live there and we try to visit as much as possible.

The NW200, or Northwest 200, is one of the Worlds largest motorcycle road racing events over a 7 mile, triangular course up at Colraine to Portrush to Portstewart in NI.

It goes on for at least a week and draws crowds you would not believe. The racing is out of this World; it is a proper event, a real happening baby!

All of the above plus National trust spade mill near antrim. Really interesting tour. You can stay in their car park for a small fee.
