Now the weather's getting better I want to get on the roof of my van and clean out the grime from the ridges and around the skylights, are there any magic product recommendations for helping with this?

Not very magic, but Fenwicks caravan cleaner works quite well for me. Spray on with pressure washer detergent attachment, leave for a few minutes, agitate with a soft brush, rinse with fresh water.

I use 'Autoglym Shampoo Conditioner Wash & Wax' on the whole van. Excellent product.

I know it’s not exactly the answer you are looking for but my magic product is a magnetic Thule ladder holder to make getting up close to the roof a safer business. You can move it all around the van to make the whole roof within arms reach, with a suitable ladder.

Be careful if using a pressure washer as you can do more harm than good if you damage any of the seams .
