What is this ?

In our Hymer Grand Canyon S PVC, aka The Glamper Truck, we have a Smoke Alarm, a Carbon Monoxide alarm and this.

I can’t work out what it does. If you press the front a red light flashes. It’s not wired to any other system.

Anyone know what it is?

Check the batteries they are probably flat..
If you want to set it over night make sure its fitted where it won't see you going to the loo

Check the batteries they are probably flat..

As the red LED came on when the button was pushed, then it's likely that the batteries are okay.

On the Autowatch system, you press to arm the alarm and then press again after a couple of seconds which will disarm all the vans internal sensors including the PIR leaving just the external doors and external lockers armed.

I guess I should have figured all of this out already, as I’ve had the van for 6 months and 8000 miles. I don’t think I’ve ever set the alarm when I’ve been in it.

I’ve just read the alarm manual …

Next I’m going to read about how the dash cam that came with works…..
