Newbie
Just finished fitting my first ever solar panel. Been panicking for a week over drilling a hole thru the roof but in the end, simples..... connected to victron smart mppt and straight to leisure battery connection on my CBE panel. Battery Master also handles trickle to veh battery. Very pleased with myself.
As an update, travelled down to Valencia, and the panel is still there.... result...!!

Not long enough!
Ill start this as im quite proud of myself. After having 12v electrical problems and finding no decent leccies to sort it I ripped it out and sorted. New fusebox, rewired d+ to relay operating a vsr for the fridge and added a 12v led to fridge when running on 12v. Ive wired so the 12v runs in hab even if van is running. And this all started after the fusebox started playing up. Bit messy those wires lol.

Changed my gas system to refillable plus an exterior fill point . I have used an ultralight GasBank system. All checked and filled. Good service.

Fitted an ebay cruise control kit. I'd been undecided for months about whether to buy it but after a few beers on Saturday I decided what the hell. Prompt delivery, arrived today and fitted in a couple of hours.
Just been for a test drive and all working as it should so feeling quite chuffed.
Looking forward to those French motorways even more now (y)

Hymer Van
First 3D print for my brand new van! It has this Hymer's "multifunction wall" which has railings here and there where you can attach stuff like lamps, spice holder and even an flower pot (all available at Hymer). I have the flower pot but it's way too big for my flower so I made a smaller one!

Fitted an emergency leisure battery after mine failed completely, it's a pain buying something for temporary use, I'm booked in for a lithium upgrade in a couple of weeks so hopefully no more battery issues for a few years.

Am loading the bikes on, plus some ballast, filling with diesel (ouch) and water and taking it to the weigh bridge. Have recently up plated to 3900kg but want to check rear axle weight before buying two electric bikes. I think it will be fine.

Had to change the fuel filter assembly last week so thought lets do the air filter, oil filter and oil today. Ouch.... that was expensive!

Happy to help
My Mobilvetta came fitted with an Xzent x-427 head unit the dab was useless due to not being connected to a dab aerial lol. It only supported android phones so had to go.
Today I’ve fitted a Kenwood DNX5190Dab unit with front dash camera & free map updates for 3 years and 5 years free live traffic. Quite a bundle of wires to sort and hide in the dashboard.
