Whale heater leaking

Hi I have a 635 Sport (2024) with the whale water heater system, the heater leaks water through the drain valve when being heated up but seems to stop once heated.
Is this something that is normal with Autotrail with this type of heater

My OH, who's in charge of this type of thing, says ours does the same. We have a 2024 AT F60. He says he's not worried about it.

Yes it's normal as the water heats up and expands

Thanks for that I have taken it back to the dealer three times, they have fitted two replacement discharge valves and some other part, but still the same

Yep , drip drip from the heater from under the van when heating up , normal as said
