Weekend in Penarth

Hi
We are going to a weeding in Penarth early April and want to take our Motorhome (when we get it - see previous threads!).
Found a campsite about 2 miles away but doesn't open until May - don't really want to stop in Cardiff (site doesnt look brilliant?). Any suggestions please !

there is a CL just up the A48 from culverhouse cross that has hard standings

Thanks will take a look Bing Maps says 25 minutes but is showing a delay so hopefully the broken down tractor will be moved by April!!

Road parking with sea view. Café and toilets nearby. Quiet overnight with no problems.

Thats Brilliant - I dont know Park4night we use Britstops a lot but nothing down there.
Will take a look - I guess its just street parking?

The Blue Anchor at East Aberthaw is a Britstop and is a 14th century thatched pub, (our “local”).

The Fontygary Inn, Rhoose, has a CL type site behind it. Limited facilities only.

Neither may be near enough for your needs, though.

Hi Steve..As mentioned..Download Park4night..Its well worth it. Dabhand has mentioned the one on the cliff top. Well worth a stop over. It is quiet too!
