Very excited as you can imagine, ferry from Plymouth isn’t until 18.00 and it’s only a 2 hour drive. All I’ve got to do is fill the fridge.
So that we don’t go mad I’ve got a final gym class plus the dentist and Nick is squeezing in a last round of golf with his buddies, one has lung cancer so you can understand why. They meet even if the weather is too awful to play even if it’s just coffee plus moaning!
Heading for Villasol so will see some of the usual reprobates but are having a pootle down the coast staying at a few places first and meeting up with a couple we met on our Norway tour earlier this year.

We had planned on Cordoba , Grenada and Seville but that will have to wait until next year when we feel more confident in the Comformatic. We’ve not had it 2 weeks and only driven it the one long distance back from Yorkshire. It seemed fine but a bit strange coming back into our narrow uphill drive. Must remember to put it into manual next time before I start rather than after I have slammed the brakes on!

Best wishes. You'll soon get the hang of the gearbox and wonder why you were ever concerned. :)

Have a great trip Carolyn & Nick, just in time to ditch the deteriorating weather here, and get some sun over there.

Have a wonderful trip and enjoy your new van!!

Have a great time. We are just about to board at Bilbao to head home.

BonVoyage to you both ,We wish you a safe journey and a great adventure in your new van . Wish we could have joined you but you never know:)

There are only a few reprobates here on Villasol at the moment, all are in fine fettle but trapped in the vans today, it started raining at midnight and has been constant since with no sign of letting up yet.
They cleared the lower end of Torreta yesterday so clearly expecting some flooding. The sun is due back tomorrow.
Have a safe trip down, the 'comfomatic' will be fine you'll just have to find something else to do with you left leg.
Take care
See you soon
Ed & Shirl

Safe journey, see you soon @ Villasol hopefully the sun will be shining on your arrival - Perri

It’s pouring down here at Mazarron on the Costa Calida but should be over and done with by tomorrow. Keep an eye on aemet.es for the weather (it’s the Spanish met office website).
We love our comformatic but unfortunately the van is still in the garage now awaiting a new ECU as it was destroyed in the Gota Fria that we had on the 13th September (it was a Friday)! Trying not to imagine what the bill will be!
Safe travels and enjoy.

Safe trip. As Sheddy had stated. It's pi***** down here just now but certain to have improved by the time you get here. Looks like we will miss you as we are leaving on Friday BUT hopefully will be back in November for the birthday week.

Have a great trip and send some pics back of the van.

Have a good 'un .... And if your still there in January will see you over at La Toretta coffee afternoons :-)

I hope the weather picks up for you in Spain. It’s 12c and thundering and it’s been raining since 4am this morning. We’ve had enough and we’re heading for home.

Safe travels, enjoy your new van and your time in Beni xx
