Spending a couple of days at Whitchurch, and whilst walking along the canal path at Gridley Book, this sign was on the grass verge.

Thought the last sentence was a little strange. Big Brother is watching you!!

We are on the Grindley Brook Wharf site, right on the canal bank.

We originally rang the Horse and Jockey, as they have let us stay on their side field in the past, and it’s a nice pub. However, they said that we couldn’t stay as field was not currently in use, so fortunately for use the Wharf site had a spare pitch, so we booked for two nights.
Then, when we come out the pub after a lovely meal, there was a Coachbuild in said field with all blinds closed!! Would definately use the Wharf site again, very peaceful and an adult only site

Yes, best to book. It’s quite a busy pub, and they do have a good COVID system in place.
Good selection on the menu and we thought very reasonably priced. We booked for both nights and were very impressed. Definately recommended
