Hi.

I have 4 x LED 1.5w marker lights I have installed as wheel arch reversing lights.

I have added into the loop a 48w LED work lamp.

However, when I do, the work lamp is okay but the 4 x marker lights dim.

Would installing a relay and a direct feed from the battery for the work lamp cure my issue?.

Yes a thicker cable will help, not particularly a relay as the work lamp only uses 4 amps.

Edit: yes a relay would help if the switch is a long way away.

I also was going to query the cable size, LED's due to their low current draw and the way they work are not very sensitive to voltage so you have either got a hell of a voltage drop or are you using ballasted LEDs i.e. ones that have a resistor load so they take the same current as a incandescent bulb.

Long Cable runs but will look up the LED's

Need to know which relay, there are various pin outs.
Apart from making remote switching easier a relay will not cure your problem.
