Does anyone know of a villa with pool to rent as close to Alicante airport as possible ( within an hour?) where we could park our motorhome on the drive whilst we have a villa holiday with daughter and grandson please, tried everything on line , o parking for motorhome x

Why not try the other way around? By that I mean a campsite with a pool that does apartments/chalets etc? I'd have thought there would be plenty of nice ones near Alicante.

OR.. As above, campsite with all the facilities and put the motorhome into a storage area..
In Benidorm I have used El raco and Benisol for storage when we had our apartment there.

It's something we're thinking of doing next year at Lake Garda, they could rent a caravan and we would use the motorhome.
An alternative would be to get an awning. The grandchildren could stay with us in the moho and their parents sleep in the awning BUT we would get a superior pitch with its own toilet and shower facility - it's something that we think might work. They can fly in and hire a car and we would be already set up for them!

Have a look at Camping La Fuente near Fortuna, Motorhome pitches, Bungalow?/Chalets to rent, heated pool, bar, restaurant etc. A bit out in the sticks though if you’re looking for things to see.

Thanks all, we can go to Alicante imperium which they enjoyed last year, but we are living in motorhome whilst we renovate our house in France and I just fancied a treat our own pool and a bath

Try Alicante Holiday Villas. They deal with a lot of properties in Gran Alacant, between the airport and Santa Pola. Haven't used them myself as we had our own place but known them since the early 2000's

Camping Municipale in Lasize have chalets on site, we used this option when we took the wrinkleys a few years ago, we used the MH and they the chalet.....

We are having a family week in the lakes next summer on the camc coniston , 2 adults 2 kids in a large tent, 2 adults in a chalet, 2 adults in a pod and us in the motorhome.
Everyone's got what they wanted and everyone is happy, except the wallet.

The problem there is that AirBnB only covers insurance for the numbers of persons booked to actually stay IN the property, so you need to make sure extra people are allowed to use the facilities etc.

We let our home out as AirBnB for a few times a year, for wedding guests at a local venue. It can be difficult controlling the numbers in terms of people 'dropping in'. Our insurance only covers us for a specified number of named guests. There are lots of enquirers who wrongly think that because they book the whole house, they can invite as many people over as they want to bbq's, get togethers, meals etc so long as they don't actually sleep there...

We went to the Coniston CAMC site last year. We really enjoyed it. Easy walking access from the bottom of the site to the water. A good cafe at the boat club nearby. I don't envy you driving your van round the area though.

thanks mike. Funny story to that, when I took the photos, the wind was blowing the flamingo into the shots on the pool. So now we make a joke of family photos with it in the shots.

I have been asked about Summer rates for 2024. However, the house is fully booked with rentals, family or contracted dates from around end of May through to Mid September 2024.
